Can't contact Mortgage Broker - Go elsewhere?

Options
Looking for a little advice.

Had DIP from L&C, obtained back in August.
Put offer in on a house Monday, which was accepted straight away.
Solicitor put official offer letter in same day also (We are in Scotland) that was accepted Tuesday AM.

Been trying to contact L&C since Monday to no avail. Was told to contact person spoke to initially but can't get through on direct dial, she has responded to one email saying she would call on Tuesday but didn't. No email response since. Other brokers refusing to deal with case as it should go through this initial person.

Is now the time to find another broker? If so any recommendations?

It's rather frustrating as we are FTB and wanting to get out of paying rent ASAP not to mention we are now holding things up!

Sounds like it is time to go elsewhere.

Another reason why if your looking for an individualised approach L and C are not great and you do get what you pay for.

I didn't think I was looking for an individualised approach just for them to answer the phone once in 3 days. :rotfl:

that includes being updated in a timely manner. Hope you don’t have anything adverse in your credit file or your journey going to get whole lot bumpier with L and C

Gone with a different broker now, everyone is always keen to get your business at first so hard to say if they will be better but at least we have an actual lender now!
