Quora Partner Program

The Quora (question and answer website) has just started a "Partner program" so if you write a question they share their revenue with you.

It can be quite lucrative by the look of it, some questions have generated over £100 for their authors. I've not been so successful myself but it is worth a look if you have an inquisitive mind.

Questions can earn revenue for up to a year after being published.

Apologies, hadn't realised that, I've been a user for quite a few months now and just got an email out of the blue.

They do suggest that they will relax that at some time in the future but no dates.

How can other people I know participate?

The program is invite-only at this time, but we intend to open it up to more people as time goes on.

I've made about a fiver in the first month so it's not exactly going to make me rich but not bad for asking a few questions.

Do you need to pay income tax & NIC on earnings from Quora Partner Progrsm?

If you earn enough then yes. The new HMRC rules mean you are allowed to earn £1,000 extra per year before you need to declare it.
