I wouldn't touch a BTL with barge pole, have you considered the new tax changes? it's making it less sustainable to be a LL anymore if you need a mortgage

thanks for this, obviously great care is needed, which is why I'm doing my research before doing anything. I'm not (yet) sure of all the ramifications but I intend to be before I act.
