These days, when many refuse to pick up coppers from the ground, how much would it have to be for you to bend down and pick up money lying around?

I assume the marked drop in people aged 65+ who would pick up a penny is because they can't bend down any more?
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

When I was at high school in the 80's classmates would roll a few coppers across the playground and anyone spotted picking them up got duffed up. Great times!

We were always told it was Lucky to find a penny and pick it up, "all day long you will have good luck!"

So I always pick up a penny :-)

I once bent down to pick up a penny I'd seen shinning up at me and when bent down to get it I saw a £20 note less than a metre away so YES, I will always bend down for a penny :D

    Yes

If people really aren't bothered about coppers, I'm happy to provide bank details where you can send them, to make sure that your balances are nicely rounded down ;)

It'll be far more aesthetically pleasing to your eyes, and will help this ascetic no end!

If no one is watching, I'll pick it up. You see loads of people just walk past like they're rubbish so you feel judged like you were picking up rubbish.

I deposited £3. into my bank account last week. Not much I hear you say but every penny was picked up
when out walking. Every penny counts!
