So I’m a mum of two and wanting to start saving for the future. I’d love to be able to buy a house one day with my partner but it seems impossible right now.
When I was younger I took out a lot of ‘catolog’ accoubts like very, studio aswell as things on finance from curry’sand dfs. This has made life and finances so difficult. I’m a very organised person and have lists and spreadsheets but it’s hard to keep to them.
I’m now behind on council tax as the amount has gone up and struggling to pay it. I have direct debits which try to come out on certain days which don’t as have no money in bank account so I get charges upon charges.
I own £500+ gas and electric and things are getting out of hand.
I’m just looking for advice how I combat all of this so the future starts looking brighter.

Hi, mum of 2 little ones too. Alao debt busting to buy a house. First of all you need to post a Statement of Affairs. It's really important that you're honest. Will try to post link below. If not then someone else will be along shortly to help.

Also remember that some debts are priority (council tax) and others (unsecured card debt) are not. Would you be ok with calling one of the free debt charities like Stepchange for advice?0

Council tax & gas/electric are your priority.
