Hi
Transferring property equity as part of consent order and my solicitor is charging £833.00 to do the conveyancing works... this seems very steep!
Does it have to be them that do it? Co-Op (DC Law) have quoted at £642.00 but I don't know if it can go through them?
Please help!
Thanks in advance

No, you are able to get your own conveyancer to do the work, your solicitor just needs to evidence its been done. Shop aroundI am a Mortgage Adviser
