LGPS AVC query

I have taken LGPS flexible retirement.
I Will be taking my avc money as a tax free payment
.I think that will leave around £2000 left over in the avc account.
.I will be rejoining the lgps with my new hours .Can I transfer any remaining avcs to the new lgps.or will I be offerd an alternative with any avc money left over

You'll be offered alternatives, one of which will be the option of buying additional pension in the LGPS.
The other option (of transferring to another pension scheme/SIPP) is probably not worth the faff for £2K.0 -
