Thought I'd share my experience of doing surveys with American Consumer Opinion.
I joined around 5 years ago but it took ages for me to receive any survey invites. Then there came a time when I got invites a bit more regularly, but more often than not it would just take me through lots of surveys I didn't qualify for. Fortunately it gave consolation points if you didn't qualify for any surveys.
Then they stopped giving you the consolation points so I decided to knock it on the head. I continued getting the survey invites so thought I'd log in and deactivate my account around a year or so ago. However I noticed I was only 3 surveys away from cashout so thought I'd carry on until cashout, which was $10.
After many screenouts I finally managed to reach cashout in March this year. I've only just received that money now. Needless to say I won't be doing any more surveys on that site.
