bankruptcy and previous owned company

Hi, I used to be a director of a company (resigned in july 2017), it was a community interest company limited by guarantee.

Ive been resigned for over a year now, the company is still running but i no longer have anything to do with it. I just checked on companies house and they still have me down as a 'person with significant control' along with the new director. I have contacted them to ask that they amend this.

Will any of this affect my bankruptcy application or could my application affect the company?

Comments

  • Maybe worth checking with Business Debtline? They were very helpful when I spoke to them, as I had been a company director within the past year they just told me to make sure I had resigned that before filing for bankruptcy.
