I'd pay off Virgin CC this month. Then set the DD payment for the remaining cards as follows:
Barclaycard £100 per Month
MBNA £295 per month
And set up a standing order to pay £100 per month into a separate account for your emergency fund.
This would work out at £495 per month and in 18 months time you'll be debt free and have an emergency fund of £1800 (assuming you don't need to use any of it of course!).
Hope this helpsYou can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

Hello there. Great that you are using GAMSTOP and have self-excluded!
Have you considered attending GA? I have been attending for the past 5 months and cannot tell you how much life has changed. If you would like to discuss more, feel free to PM me or reply here.Current Debt: [STRIKE]May 2018: £83,035.95 [/STRIKE] - July 2019: £52,079.450 -
yes, I live in a small town , there is nothing close to me.
I do however have access to free therapy, I had stopped until I suffered major depression which triggered it again.
I only ever gambled in periods every so often (an escape gambler), my main issue is credit cards and online gambling.
I am going to get help once again and I have decided it's best not to use credit cards at all anymore.
I had a plan in place previously with blocks and a basic bank account which was working great, until my low mood distorted my thinking.0 -

I noticed my Barclaycard is only interest free for another 6 months, so I am going to clear that as soon as possible.
Virgin is now £0

So are you going to set the monthly payment at £270 then it'll be clear within the 6 months and put the rest towards MBNA, or are you going to throw the maximum at Barclay and get it cleared sooner?
You'll be over the moon when you've cleared another card! Just be sure to close the accounts as soon as the balance is cleared to avoid any temptation.

I have decided to pay the maximum towards Barclaycard and get it cleared, pretty sure i will feel better when I get it down to just one card.
Virgin has been closed.0 -
Barclaycard is now £1300 and with the overtime I am currently doing I should have it cleared by November 16th.
so that's my next target.0 -
