Stupid ISA question

I'm getting my head in a muddle with what I'm reading
I opened a LISA in April 2017. It will shortly have £4000 in it then the 25% bonus on top.
My OH opened a LISA with £1 earlier this month so I understand that we can't get a bonus from it for 12 months. We won't put any more money into the LISA until we know we aren't buying within 12 months. It's a cash LISA rather than stocks and shares.
We're both first time buyers. We're hoping to buy this autumn/winter but you never know, things might drag out. Property will be under £250k.
I gather that OH can have a Help to Buy ISA alongside the LISA, and we can put £1200 in the first month, then £200 per month thereafter. And we only get the bonus on completion.
That's right, isn't it; the cash LISA doesn't complicate things? So it would just be a case of finding OH a H2B ISA and sticking £1200 in it?
