We went to see the fireworks tonight, what a bargain! £2.50 for me and the kids got in free! The fireworks were at an organised display with entertainment from the local radio station, bonfire etc. It's for a local charity, although with the amount they must spend on fireworks every year it amazes me how they manage to charge so little for entry.

I saw the fireworks for free - my back bedroom overlooks the valley. Must have seen about 2 dozen back-garden displays. Though the small ones do get a little hard to see past 2 miles.

Not sure what was happening to the north, but the horizon kept lighting up with huge ones. And that's at least 10 miles away... :eek:

I loathe fireworks as do my poor little animals. :mad: If I had my way anyone even thinking about fireworks would have one inserted into a strategic place & the blue paper lit.

I think I must live in a neighbourhood of MSEers, not one firework tonight. In fact apart from my neighbours having a party at the weekend there's been nothing at all here.
