Cant see it being asked but are you getting any help for the mental health issue ?
You really need to get help if not already as it could reoccur if you get the current issue sorted.
I am getting help with it. Im currently going through the process of being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Its taken a very long time but hopefully that will be sorted soon.0 -

Im terrified as they have every right to tell my landlord, he has every right to give me notice to leave. I dont have anywhere to go if that happens.0 -

I understand why you would say that. I do agree that its my own doing and not the banks fault. This is why i definitely will not be going down that route.0 -
Look, I came on here to get some advice and some support. Alot of people get into this situation and you know it can be very isolating. I know i got myself in this mess and i know it was irresponsible lending. I am in not relying on miss- selling as it wasn't the banks fault, it was mine. You can keep telling me that but its not going to help. Im only looking for advice, not to be put down by my actions. Im trying to change my situation.0

Your post title and the suggestion by your friend that you look to blame the lenders has put people's backs up a little and I can understand why.
Do go to the Debt Free Board, it's the best place for you and they are much friendlier and more supportive other there.0 -

I would ask the friendly folks on the bankruptyc board about the real risks. Lots of people there who have lived it and come out much happier at the other end.2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000 -

Louise, I can honestly understand the situation you are in now. I've been there but there is a way out and people out there who can help.
When I got into a similar mess I probably made matters worse by borrowing more money instead of going to going to one of the charities. I went to StepChange and honestly they were brilliant. As soon as I'd made the call I had belief that myself, Stepchange and my creditors could work together to get out of the mess I was in.
Yes, it was a long hard road and yes for a time luxuries such as holiday, fancy clothes etc I had to give up but it was well worth it in the end.
You will honestly get there you've just got to believe0
