Hi All,
I'm looking at you for some answers as I haven't a clue what to do. A BRO was granted for me on the 26th July, since then I feel like my world has been turned upside down. My vehicle was taken as an asset, I'm embarrassed to say that I'm now driving a vehicle with 130K miles on the clock.. I know before you tell me.. I have to adjust to a new way of life.
Things have now all kicked off with O2. They decided about 2 days ago to disconnect me completely and advised that the will not be reconnecting me. My OR has told me basically that either O2 will want my business or they won't and if they don't take my business elsewhere..
But, more importantly (the reason I'm back here again), where and who will take me on as an undischarged BR?
PLEASE HELP

Sim only, you can walk into most newsagents /supermarkets and get a sim card, pop it in your phone, top up and away you go. Or buy a cheap pay as you go phone and put a sim in it.
No stigma in driving a high mileage car, at least you have the money to buy/run one.

The issue I have is that O2 has blocked my current phone due to outstanding balances. I need a phone that can video call as that's the only contact I have with my daughter (she lives with her mum) in the week.0

Hi there
If you check out the O2 PAYG site you can get a free sim which should fit your existing phone and buy "big bundles" which include data. text and calls eg £20 top up gets you 8Gb data, 2000 minutes and 5000 texts. Hope this helps.0 -

Think you will find it’s the sim that’s blocked, not the phone, just try another SIM card in it, it should work fine.
If the phone itself is blocked, then look on music magpie or other sites for second hand iPhones or other makes as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Hi again
Since my earlier comment I have realised that our very own favourite site has all the info you could need about the best PAYG deals and bundles

Tesco mobile use O2 network and as such you will have the same coverage.
If the phone is not barred then the Tesco sim will work out of the box.
Tesco do a pay monthly sim or a PAYG sim .baldly going on...0 -

No, O2 have barred the IMEI on the iPhone, as they have advised that I do not own the phone as it is/was still under a credit agreement. I have tried another O2 sim in the phone and I cannot use it.0 -
New phone, new sim, sorted.
Pay as you go if you can’t be bothered to shop around and find out who will take you on.0 -

I presume you must have had a “o2 Refresh” style contract, the phone is supplied to you with some form of HP or personal loan agreement and remains the property of o2 until you pay it off.
You will need to find an alternative, perhaps consider something second hand from CEX or even maybe Gumtree.0 -
A second hand phone and a pay as you go sim would be best. In the short term you can get any old phone and call your daughter the old fashioned way until you can afford to buy one where you can video call.0
