Spots on new hob?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this.
We have had a new hob fitted. I used the front ring once with a frying pan (flat botton and dry) and I noticed afterwards the are spots that have appeared under the glass. I've tried a hob cleaner but they are still there. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of them please. They can't be felt on the ring so they can't be scraped off (also worried about scraping the glass). I've tried to take a photo but the pictures are almost impossible to see. I think this one shows them a bit.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Unless you think those spots are specifically because you are in Northern Ireland, you might be better posting on one of the other boards but if they are under the glass, then that suggest a fault of some sort, though i'd be surprised if they were.

We use Hob Brite to clean ours and it seems to remove any stains...
