What do you do if your financial model doesn't work? Seems you get rid of the big money prize draws for the moment. Well at least I got a couple of wins from it.

It's surprising that so many people seem to have had wins and even multiple wins, when I've been doing it daily for nearly 2 years and not won a penny.
Were both your wins from buying into the 1000 points draw?0 -
Yes they were. When I bought points there were a lot less people in the £50 draw so figured it was worth the investment.0

I won the normal draw in January, and then when paid put some of it into buying more points. Didn't/haven't won since though.
I don't mind too much, it's still made me more than all the others I check daily.0 -
So today he has announced that DobLotto will be going through a "reboot", since he just can't keep up with payments. Changes will apparently include a smaller prize, and points draws will now cost points to enter instead of merely requiring them.
Also, inactive accounts will no longer be able to win the prize draws. It was at this point I learned that inactive accounts could win the draws....
No mention if competitions and the ability to buy points will continue.0 -
I check mine every day and have won £50 twice. The first time I was paid but the guy who owns the site is having financial problems and I will have to wait for the second payout. He explains his situation on the opening page. I think he is paying winners out of his (day job) earnings so he needs a few more punters.0

Just found this and I quote:
The prize pots are funded by supporting ads like this.
doblotto Payouts
There is a growing number of winners waiting for payments and in equal measure there are more negative reviews being left.

To be fair to those that check and claim and expect payouts more promptly than I can personal currently afford I've taken the decision to temporarily stop the higher payout draws until the payout list has been reduced to a manageable level that is fair to my pocket and to the winner.
I'm sorry I've had to take this action but with numbers falling and now earning less than £200 from the adverts in a month, the amount being paid out is far surpassing them income and the savings I had have now all been used so I'm now paying out from what I have each month from my salary. I had hoped the competitions would help bridge the gap but the up-take from them hasn't helped with the prize pot only just being covered in most cases.0 -

Hmm I wonder if that's why I had to do a password reset today and when I logged in my entire points haul over the last 4 years has been wiped out! I've checked in every day since 2015 without a single win so seeing all my 'effort' and points disappear is beyond annoying, it of course now tells me I'm not eligible for draws I was just yesterday! Thinking this is now not worth the bother and I may just delete the account. Sure it didn't cost me anything other than a bit of time but still, apparently 4 year of 'loyalty' counts for nothing0
