Fair point but we do not know what question they were asked.
I spend six months working in a local government building two years ago. I sat next to a union pension rep. Every so often he would get a visit from one of his members and it was quite revealing how little people knew about their pension. Of course compared to the private sector, people with DB schemes have been able to "ignore" their pensionsFew people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment.
