Nervous about mortgage application

Hi all
I’m wondering if anyone has any advice or previous history of applying for a mortgage with credit card debt.
Here’s a bit of history
Have had a natwest mortgage for 5 years and never missed a payment.
AIP from natwest via broker.
Broker declared on application of AIP that we will be paying off all debts with money from equity.
Putting Down a 25% deposit.
Debts total around £12k 9k of which are credit cards.
Has anyone else done this type of mortgage where you agree to paying off debts with equity? I’m so scared of being declined. I have terrible anxiety and I’m a mess today :-(
Are we any more likely to be accepted because we bank /current mortgage/ new mortgage and have a loan with NatWest?
Any advice aprechiated.

If you are dealing with a Broker, they would not put you back with Nat West unless in their Professional experience they expect your case to go through.I am a Mortgage Broker
