Buying kits online

Hi folks,
What is your opinion about buying solar kits from an online wholesaler? (e.g. midsummerwholesale). They seem a LOT cheaper than prices I've received from local companies. The question is, how to find a MCS installer for panels ordered from the internet. Has anyone ever gone down this route please?
Thanks

Two obvious problems with this approach

    1) I'm not sure an MCS installer would give you a warranty for kit you supply.
    2) You'd have to pay 20% VAT whereas it's only 5% when an MCS installer supplies and installs.
