Hello I hope this is the correct forum for this question!
We are coming to the end of our fixed term mortgage and want to buy a second home abroad to rent out. We were wondering if it makes sense to re-mortgage and release some equity in our current home and we would be able to buy outright abroad? This second property would be a rental.
Or is it better to save, overpay a bit on our mortgage and buy later. I'm only conscious that where we want to invest the property prices are increasing.

You need to see a decent financial adviser not ask to strangers who don't know your circumstances on a public forum.. All the best0
