Please see my earlier post heading 'Instant Pot Duo Mini 3 QT in UK.' sarah1972 very helpfully directed me to Pressure King Pro and yesterday I collected my Pressure King Pro (3L) – 8-in-1 Digital Pressure Cooker
Although I am very pleased with it, (and 3 litres is fine for me) as a novice, and not good cooking at all, I find the recipies and 'options' not direct or specific enough for me for portions of single items such as potatoes and carrots on their own - not as part of meal recipes. With the rice or pasta options I'm not sure how much dry pasta or rice to add and how many cups of water to add.
I could not find specific directions for this model so guessed how to cook (boil) potatoes using two cups of water and two large potatoes, chopped, for 6 minutes. I was on edge and would manage better with simple step by step directions for this model - if it is available. I could not see anything bigger than the small recipe booklet included in the box.
If anyone can suggest a 'beginners' type of cook book suitable for this model I would be most appreciative. The 3 litre model does not have anything to sit in the pot for steaming although the larger models have one. Some You Tube recipes are geared towards the larger models and I am not experienced enough to adapt them.
I hope, to begin with, to use it for boiled potatoes, pasta and rice (just plain and not part of a recipe.) Later I would like to try simple vegetable or lentil soup - I have bought Knorr Stock Pots in anticipation!
Any help will be appreciated, thank you. I apologise for my lack of skill - I am most eager to use this digital cooker to the best advantage possible.

That's great, sarah1972, and very much appreciated. I have plenty to look at now and can decide which book to buy.
I'm afraid I didn't get the bargain eBay price! I'm very pleased with my 3 litre model and thank you again for pointing me in the right direction.

I'm afraid I didn't do well with the King Pro. My niece moved into a new flat and was delighted when I offered it to her. Thanks everyone for helping.Crimson0
