I’ve got to try not to cry as I no one day it will get better but right now it’s the hardest it’s ever been.
After working out everything Within two weeks I need to “find” just short of £5k. I’ve lost my house. Can’t go bankrupt or get a IVA as that voids my new tenancy. My insurance has been cancelled due to not paying. My child’s about to lose her nursery place for none payment. My oldest came home with a letter for none payment of dinner fees. That if not paid by next week she has to bring in sandwiches. She hates sandwiches. My cards are all maxed out. I couldn’t even get a gaurentor loan as she’s not earning enough. I’m trying to make lemonade out of these lemons by telling myself it will work out but this is the worse I’ve ever been, rock bottom, and I see no way of looking up never mind getting up. This time it’s not gonna work out as my other half, my fall back, my go to, is gone. Credit card minimums due out Thursday. It’s a first come first serve at the moment as there’s not enough for them all. I’ve just had enough. Doing a car boot weekend. Hope I get at least £50. So I can cover lunch fees. Fed up of being fed up.rant - well cry fest - over.

Just withdrew my £59.02 from Quidco. I wanted to get it to three figures but rainy days and all that. At least if I don’t make any money at car boot in 3-5 working days I can pay the school.0

So yesterday I got offered the job. Yay. All my checks being done. Im due to start 26th nov. £1800 a month after tax. So I was confident I would be debt free 2021. Also a family friend took out a loan for me. £5k. I was so overwhelmed and grateful. She told Me she couldn’t do it because she wasn’t earning enough but they called her back and said she could as they hadn’t worked it out correctly. They asked if she still wanted to go ahead she said yes and sorted it then told me after the money was in her account. Love her man. Then interest is high, granted, but all the interest combined im paying off now is more than the loan so I’ll actually be saving. I cleared my nursery debt, 4 big bills till the new year, My daughters dinner fees and all bar one credit card. I feel like a weight has been lifted. Come dec when it’s time to make my first payment I will only have the loan, the last card, my car and insurance to pay. I hope to be in my new job by then and I can pay more than the minimum on my loan. It’s over two years but I’m hoping with no major outgoings and a real income I can do it in 12. Once my CC is paid off I’m going to tackle the loan. After the loan. My car. I’m feeling a lot better after yesterday. Fingers crossed for a good Friday :money:0

Friday was a good one. Better than expected. Still haven’t heard back from HB and that’s giving me anxiety. I’m stuck in a loop hole unfortunately. And really want to get it sorted. Saturday was manic and I didn’t sell one thing. Annoying. Waste of money. Never again. However I’m just learning about depop and apps alike so will start selling on there to cover this month of “free” time. eBay and PayPal fees are just too expensive! New job comes with a company car so thinking of returning my car/clearing the balance & selling as I don’t need two cars and it’s just another out going I can cut out and can help me to be debt free 2021. Cross that bridge when I come to it but overall feeling 5.5/10 today which is good.0

Hope you hear back from HB soon. I once did a car boot with my boyfriend and we sold a couple of things but in terms of petrol to get there etc. it was a complete waste of time. I probably wouldn't do one again.August 2019 - Debt £8000

so i'm back 4 months later and so much has happened since and i dont even know where to start. debts getting higher and higher and my finances are getting lower and lower. at the end of my tether really. new job fell through due to childcare issues. went on income support in december housing benefit finally being paid yay. then get told its not being back paid as they dont havemy wage slips from september. although i wasnt working by that point. been going back and forth with housing benefit since december. then get told that i didnt provide nursery statements, sent them via email in november, they have them makred as recieved but didnt take in to consideration. in actual fact the reason im back writing this is because i've been going back and forth with housing benefit this morning as they are now saying they dont have my new tenancy agreement, although they photocopeid it and attached it to my file back in november. im absolutely fed up ive called them 12 times in 3 weeks and each time i get something different. im so so soooo fed up. now my kids are suffering because depression is eating me alive because bills just keep coming sigh. also zero percent runs out on my credit card next month. credits !!!! so cant get another, o income to clear it in time. i wish they did low income consolidate loans one for 20k over here please! lol. im going to work out what my current debt is. update shortly.0

So spent all day trying to work out my debt calling around as you do to get exact figures. Called the housing association I owed £1500. Was paying £7 a week (lol they accepted it so was not complaining) they said as it’s below what they usually accept (£10) they passed it on to debt collectors, just over 8 months ago, HA! So the last 30 weeks I’ve been paying the standing order of £7 a week and it’s been added to an account which is showing I’m in credit and I must contact the debt collection agency. Erm no, the £280 you’ve got off me please add that to the debt and I will increase by £3 a week so I can hit the minimum you’ll accept. Simple right? No. I’m told they cannot do that as the account is already nullified and bla bla bla. I need to put it in writing bla bla. So then had to write a letter stating all this which I will print off and send in the morning. I then call my water rates from my old property. Arrears were £800. Paid £13+ a week only have £65 left to pay... yay, well not so much, my new property has no been assigned to me so I now have to cover payment from move in date till now. Luckily it’s not that much I just upped my standing order from £13+ to £15 and will just pay that every week until July which should cover me till next year feb. 2 debts sorted. Another 8 to go.....lol0
