Why do you think it may be wrong?
Post your tax code here and I'm sure someone will help.0 -
problems most commonly arise when you have 2 jobs or a job and a pension and these are not coded properly. Otherwise you need to check if your coding notices have reflected for example any expenses payments you may be allowed in your job or that any investment income has been coded properly (for example if they have estimated any such income, but it would probably only matter if you were a higher rate taxpayer).
You could contact the tax office which deals with your employment (ask your employer or look at most recent notice of coding).
If you are not employed and have for example just investment income then you'd need to get together all details of income and consider submittining a repayment claim R40.
Tax office do not have details of your income as if by magic - even employments are not always linked up. So you need to have all your details to hand if you are going to ask them to check for you - but really you'd need some idea of what you are asking. Post some more information on here as jem16 says.0
