I have worked out my budget to clear the mortgage in 5 years but it leaves me with a weekly sum of £80 which is incredibly low.
I would have savings obviously to pay for any unexpected disasters but do you think its possible or would it be too draining to micro manage every penny. particularly over the years. All expenses would be covered and this would be for food for me and incidentals like meals / coffee with friends etc.
I'm really inclined to go for it but don't want to set myself up for failure, maybe I could have a £100 a month buffer,
How does everyone else budget particularly for personal spends ?
