Increased scrutiny around fire safety

Hello,
I wonder if anyone else has experienced this recently and how you managed to resolve it
Currently i am in the process of selling my flat and purchasing a house, no issues on the purchase side of things
However the sale of my flat is proving troublesome
During the valuation the surveyor stated the building 'appeared' to be cladded and the lender valued it at zero, understandable if it wasn't for the fact the building exterior is terracotta panels and solid aluminium sheet, this was eventually resolved
Secondly the lender has requested 'fire check certificates' to confirm that the relevant fire checks have been completed. The management company duly provided the fire risk assessment (up to date, independantly completed, correctly signed etc etc) which the lender rejected
They have requested a letter from the management company stating all fire checks have been completed, the management company have confirmed that fire checks and safety are an ongoing proces and that all relevant checks have been completed which wasn't deemed acceptable
As far as i can tell the management company can't confirm that everything has been actioned in the FRA as it isn't within their control, for example the advice was to remove doormats, the management company have sent out letters requesting this but some still remain. The lender won't accept anything other than the template letter they have requested confirming everything was actioned
The lender is Barclays
