Abit of advise please

Hi guys,
I've been lurking on here a while and thanks to this wonderful site I've managed to pay off nearly £3k of my debt in a year and I haven't added to it in that time either so I'm quite impressed
.
Now I'm in a bit of a sticky situation and need a bit of advice. Until the beginning of Oct I was working in a pub as Assistant Manageress earning an OK wage, but considering the hours I was working it was nothing, so i decided to leave and have recently started working for a mobile phone company in their call centers. Now I absolutely love it, I have my life back, I am nowhere near as stressed as I was but I had to take a £3k pay cut to do this so things are a bit tight at the min, after all the bills have been paid I have about £100 to spend on food petrol and anything else that goes wrong in the month.
When I was at the pub I got my personal license , the manager recently left and the council told them if they didn't find a license holder in the next 24 hours they were going to close them down, so I stupidly agreed to do it. The owners are paying £100 a week to do this but if something goes wrong I get a criminal record and a massive fine (anything from £2k to £20k depending on what it is) It will hopefully only be for another 2 months so I am looking at getting at least £800+ from doing this.
So my problem is do I keep the money as spends/Christmas/emergency money or do I put it towards my debts?
Sorry its a bit of a rambling post but I wanted to make sure you understood the situation!
Thanks
J

Ummm... well if those are the two choices I would put it to my debts.
But is that really a wise thing you've done? It's probably totally illegal. You should be careful . I'd get some advice. And what kind of company is willing to have a phantom licensee in this day and age?
You really need to think if the money is worth the risk. Wouldn't you end up with a fine and criminal record just for being caught out doing this?0 -
I'm not sure the licensing dept at the council seemed ok about it as it was only temporary (the chef is waiting for his to come back)
With hindsight it was a bit of a stupid thing to do, but I felt I was helping them out and the money was calling to me..... and now I'm stuck

Well, if the council were aware of what the arrangement was I think you should be okay, if they hadn't been it would have been dodgy.
Put the money off your debts. If the arrangement stays 2 moths you'll have paid £800 - 900 off your debts for very little effort

Yeah I know deep down I should be.... It's just hard having cash burning a hole in my pocket
thanks for your advice
