Pressure cooker help with rice

Hi, to save a bit of money because i am on LPG for cooking i brought a pressure cooker. So far it cooks most things twice as quick which can only be a good thing. But my rice comes out sticky & stuck together. I use 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice & cook for 3 to 5 mins max & let the cooker self vent for 8-9 mins. But every time, sticky.
Any suggestions?

To avoid sticky rice, I would suggest coating it with just a drop of oil before cooking it. Add the oil and mix well - you can do this on the stove or before cooking. Just don't be too aggressive otherwise your grains of rice will break, resulting in a sticky end product.
A pressure cooker is not necessary for something as quick and yielding as rice btw - an ordinary saucepan or microwave will see to it in a matter of minutes.

I always do rice in microwave. I put any amount into a plastic bowl, pour boiling water from kettle over it covering rice but approx 1 inch. Put it in microwave for 10 minutes stopping half way to give it a stir. Always turns out fine.0

Do you rinse your rice? Before cooking rinse rice in a sieve until the water runs clear, this removes some of the starch and will make your rice less sticky.0

On an episode of Nadiya's Family Favourites that I saw recently, she visited a food scientist who tested various water to rice ratios. They concluded that to cook in a pressure cooker, it should be 1 cup of rice to 1 cup of water, which I think would surprise a lot of people. If cooking in a pan, use 1/2 a cup more water (or so that water is 2cm above the rice).
The episode is here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0bk8ntk/nadiyas-family-favourites-series-1-8-treat-days# The rice bit is around 10 minutes in.0
