Starting work late in current tax year

in Cutting tax
Hello,
So I've started working late in current tax year (2018-2019), around the beginning of July and worked at a temporary work agency through which I've received weekly pay and none of it was taxed as my tax code shows the earnings are under my personal allowance. I quit the job before September and earned a total of £3,100 income without paying any tax, but paying for national insurance. I then started a new job in September which is salary-based and pays monthly. I'm aware that this year's tax-free income personal allowance is £11,850 and since I've earned £3,100 I still have roughly £8,750 of it left. My question is: is the tax code likely to stay the same and my monthly earnings won't be taxed until it goes over the limit of personal allowance or am I likely to get taxed right away?
Thanks

With a tax code of 1185 you are allowed to earn £988.26 each month before paying tax. This adds up over the months so at September you need to have earned £5929.56 so far this year before paying tax. At October you need to have earned £6917.82 and so on. If you know how much you will be getting each month you can figure out when you will start paying tax.0
