Does anyone know if this printer is any good as i need a new printer, Thanks

Great if you dont need a scanner. Top quality it is!0 -
Apparently the ink carts are incredibly small for this printer.
Which would result in you buying lots of replacement carts.
Been looking at printer/scanners myself lately, this one looks a better buy.

Should link not work its a Epson DX4450 at Currys.0 -
The cart lasted 150 pages for me. I bought a refill kit for £7.99 that seems to work great though, enough to fill up 6 times.0

Epson are far better for ink you can buy compatibles for next to nowt ;-) Ive just ordered 2 All in ones from PC world that look a good buy.
Epson Stylus DX7450 Printer
Just under 50 quid each.0 -
Hi Wildsurf, is this for the HP-F2180, if yes is it easy to refil, Thanks
Yes it is is.
Very easy to refill. There is hole already in the cart and you use the syringe to inject the ink in.
Not tried colour because I find it is cheaper to get them printed online than do it yourself.0 -

I bought one on impuse from Asda for the same price. Carts seem to be about a tenner each online. Given the tiny amount of printing I actually do, and given that every single printer I ever buy breaks after about 18 months then it seems to be a reasonable offer.
|Has anyone seen an online review for this printer? I looked for one (after I bought it, as it was an impulse buy!) and couldn't find one. Is it a new model?
For anyone who prints more than a few pages a week I would go for a Canon. Replacement carts always seem much cheaper for them.0 -
For £30 it looks a good buy.
I`ve never had a printer that lasted more than 18 months.
The other thing about buying it from Argos is at least it`s not much hassle to return it if it packs up in under a year.
Would you really wrap it up and send it back to ebuyer, amazon etc. ?
When cartridges cost £12 plus and your having problems with your printer,it`s cheaper to buy a new one.0
