Hi all i have recently started working with JLR as a workshop engineer as a permanent role is it advisable to join the Union is it worthwhile paying extra ?

Think of it like an insurance policy. if you never claim you might not think its worth it, but if you ever need it, its well worth it.

Yes, and also look at how many threads there are here from people not in a union here

Not sure of the quality of the Union at Jaguar Landrover but think its Unite Union .
