We were up with Dr. Fogarty in Crawfordsburn on Tuesday for the whole 3d scan session. Very impressed with the service etc. but then it would need to be for the price!

We got a DVD of the whole scan, 4 small printout pictures, one A4 picture and a CD ROM with about 15 picture files and video clips.

If they can't get a good image depending on how baby is positioned they will let you go back a couple of times until you get good view.

Don't know of any others locally as my wife did the organising - she did say there wasn't much choice.

My wife also found one in Dublin that was cheaper but then you have to travel down so not much benefit really unless you are going to be there anyway. Plus if you don't get a good picture first time round you have to travel again which ups the price.

Can you tell me how much the 3D scan cost you please.
  • The cost was £220 i think in 365 clinic.

We went the first time a few weeks ago, and the baby was covering the head and wasnt great pics. They give us the dvd and pictures and only charged 1/2 (£110) we where booked in again the following week to go through it again and pay the remaining amount. We got another dvd and pictures, but again the baby pictures where not great. The woman kept on apoligising about the images, but we thought its not her fault that the images are not great! (baby again hands near head) so we where never charged!

    Worked out well.

Ours was £200 for the session. Hardly "moneysaving" but then who's going to argue with a pregnant woman...... ;) :rotfl:

There are companies offering DNA based sex tests but they aren't cheap either - £189

Dont know what you want a 3d scan for.. Maybe its your first....Believe me , when the kid gets out,,,, you can look true life, and the only cost...about £250,000 yep quarter of a million, until they leave home,( if your lucky) give or take a few quid,,,, Happy Days..... save your money, and good luck
:confused:I have nothing better to do!!!!
