Hi,
Just a note to all forum users, if, for whatever reason, you make an error in a post, there is no need to delete it, there is an edit button, so you can go back and edit your post at any time.
Its more a problem for us board guides as we can still see the posts you have deleted, and they tend to clutter the threads up a bit.
Thanks in anticipation.

I wonder if there could be a glitch anywhere regarding this because I've tried editing posts and it never actually gets posted as such, when I've pressed submit the changes aren't there !0

All very well but I have had people in other sections of the forum actually re post what I edited! I wasn't impressed to say the least.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

You have to click the edit post button before you get to the option to delete, so do that many posters delete when they really wanted to edit?
Why not make delete = delete rather than delete for some but not others?0 -
You are right it is the most basic forum function but
how on this new forum?

Sometimes the cogged wheel doesn't show .....
If you then hover over that area and then click, it does the function even though you haven't had that cogged wheel visible !
Works like that on mine anyway - worth trying.2
