Today I spent:
£20.00 - petrol
£1.50 - a newspaper and a bar of chocolate!
Staying inside for the rest of Sunday....0 -
hmmm. I usually buy a sunday paper (all those suppliments keep me in reading material until the following weekend) and I could do with eggs to make yorkie puds, so a maximum £4 today.
Although buying them means going to the shops. Only Mr T's in walking distance and it's a bit grey and cold, I might not even bother. I'm sure OH can manage roast beef without yorkie puds this evening.
It's not laziness. It's moneysaving

Well I have been to a car boot sale I was the seller
never been before but kept thinking about it but this morning I was up and off I went. I loaded the car up yesterday and left home this morning 1/4 to 7 due to the fog arrived just before 7 to set up, couldn't get myself motivated for a 5.30 start but started selling as such about 7.45 left at quater to 12 although it ran untill 2pm I could not be doing with the people looking for something for nothing and the queue to get out the car park I imagine would be manic from 1pm as there must have been 1000 cars vans + there.
Well selling what I would have thrown away and nothing above £8...I made £192 of which I have made £130 clear profit
I will explain I had to start with £23 float + £7 entry fee. So I paid myself that back so I am level
, and then I took £7 entry fee and £25 float from the profits so I am using only car boot made money from now on
So I am now officaly a car booter.....
And have actually spent nothing....well impressed. 0 -

Well done Blue Rover :T and you've inspired me to go next weekend. I'll spend this evening identifying stuff to flog.
Have logged on here rather than go to the shops which would also mean using petrol since they're eight miles away - so NSD for me too.Debt to pay off £22,350:eek:
DFW 204 - Started off £53,670 in debt LBM 2006
I will be in credit one day - one payment at a time0 -
I've spent £60 on some new work clothes [boo hoo] as I need to stop looking like I've stolen my clothes from an old tramp.
But in an attempt to justify this MrS is going to collect some free coal later although I'll admit it's no where near £60 worth
I shall attempt to have a no spend week in return for this.0 -
I've just got back from Morrisons, where I spend £10.35
Which isn't too bad - however £2.39 was a Lindt chocolate reindeer, which I have nearly eaten, so I could have spent under £8.00  (but the chocolate was fantastic :EasterBun )[STRIKE]DFW Nerd number 729[/STRIKE]Debt Free & Proud0 -

Thank you and something else buy what you like. Because while I was there I looked across to another stall a chap was sellingthe odd book (as was I).
But he was very rude to all around him (not me) ...however I noticed he was selling a book on fisheeping I sent my Mom (who came so I could pop the loo, and I think she wanted a nose) to buy it and another one - because I wanted it he raised the price from 50p each to £2 for the two.
I was irritated when she told me, but £2 was not bad, but worse I have got home and I already have them both of them no wonder they looked familiar
(I keep Cichlids "fish") anyhow I was just looking on ebay at a certain fish a friend wanted to buy.....and threw in the books titles and found the one sells for £25+ on ebay.... the other for £5 +
So spent £2 could have made £30 plus, will be listing them later.0 -

£15 dinner set!!! :j:j (reduced from £34). Six month supply of water filter cartridges also from Woolies @ £21. Even if the cartridges had been cheaper at Argos I couldn't have lugged the dinner set up there as it was very heavy  Also put £2+ in the 'breakfast bowl' as my contribution to the post-run fry up. I think we ran about 10/11 miles :T
I also shelled out £6.99 for a bottle of Asti to go with my Sunday dinner:o The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025. Member #420
