Make sure lenders are retiscent with your personal information.

Render your personal information worthless to those who'd like to use it for financial gain.

Protect yourself and finger crooks.

  • Except they arent blacklisted

Its a case of in a few cases part of the complicated remnants are left behind in error and deleted once the banks become aware

Jees, a whole five minute video just to tell you to shred personal documents before you throw them in the bin.

    .

Purpose of the Real Hustle Video in this instance is to demonstrate just how valuable personal information is to crooks. The video concentrated on Bins, but there are numerous other ways to get hold of enough personal info on individuals to steal their ID. Free ID Protection system deters this.

Yes it's real, yes it works, acknowledged by Equifax, supported by an MP, feared by crooks and you can put it in place for FREE.

What I meant was why didn't you just say "shred your personal documents" instead of making me watch a five minute fiilm that basically just said at the end "shred your personal documents"

Well having read those I really think it is a load of B*LLOCKS.

How many lenders are going to read the notice and take notice of it? Most lenders do not care about who they lend money to, as long as they get their commission out of it. We've heard about people being told by mortgage lenders to lie about how much they earn so they can get a mortgage. And lenders lending to people they know can't make the repayments, so why should they take any notice of this?

Apart from that it opens up a whole new con. Suppose I set this system up for my self, then make credit applications in my name but forget to add the thumb print. Some will get through, leave me oped to denying it was me as it didn't have my thumb print on the appliaction.

Simply promising that you will add your thumb print to any documents you may sign in the furture does prove you will.

Also, what is to stop a credit company employee adding a thumb print to the application after he receives it, just to make sure he gets his commission.

Then how do you sort out if the thumb print is genuine or not? Do you have to go to the credit company office and give another thumb print? If you do how will the credit company know you are actually you and not a fraudster with fake ID.

OK, so you have declared that credit company's should not give you credit unless the application has your thumb print on it. But they have given credit to someone who says they are you, and your only defence is "It can't have been me because I always add my thumb print to the applications".

I think that is closer to being B*LLOCKS than it is to being evidence to prove you have been a victim of identity fraud.

Also it would be a bit of a bummer if someone who didn't like you sent a declaration and thumb print to the crdit agensies and one day you found you could not get credit because you weren't putting your thumb print on the applications. Not to mention having to prove you are the real you and the thumb print they have on file is false.

Another point, that MP's site says you have to send a copy of your thumb print to experian and the other two, but the experian sites says you don't?

Has anyone really thought this through?
