Advice please

Last month I had £150 taken out of my bank via Paypal without my permission. Paypal says it was an agreed subscription with Morrisons supermarket although I never agreed to such a thing they somehow managed to take it as I had given them my email address when I signed on the Shoping site???
Anyway sorry if this is going to be long winded but what happened they took this money and when I contacted them they said it was for a failed online shop that was done months ago and paid for originally by my daughter on her credit card. For some reason this payment failed (they don't know why either) but they sent the shopping out to us and we were never aware of a problem as I have done subsequent shopping on the site after that one the same way and according to Morrisons they are fine?

They money went out of my bank account as you can imagine and made all sorts of problems as it took the money I had put aside for the rent. I contacted Morrisons and the lady said it was strange they had taken money this way but the above reason is why that amount had been taken. She refunded it but said I needed to make a payment this month for it... in a state of panic I agreed but I don't have anything like £150 left each month I am on my own with 3 Kids at home and this will just wipe out any money I have fo food this month.

What should I do ?can they do this? I have offered to make smaller payments but as yet not had a reply.... I am not disputing that IF there has been some sort of computer glitch from Morrisons end that the shopping came without them receiving the money all I want is time to pay it's worrying me sick thinking that they are going to take this lump sum out of paypal again as I have spoken to paypal and they say contact morrisons nothing they can do even though I dont give authority . Does anyone know a manager in Morrisons that I can talk to that can help?

Hi Howie0001 and welcome to the forum :)

If it was me, I would contact Morrisons, in writing, and explain my current circumstances, that I just cannot afford to make a lumpsum payment. The letter would advise them that I would like the account arrears put on hold while I sought professional guidance. Then I'd contact one of the free debt counselling services for advice.

It may be possible to prove that you don't owe any money...
