I need a short term loan - help!!!

Help, I'm splitting from my husband, house on the market but no takers, in fact hardly even any viewers. I'm trying to buy a small property in spain but need £15,000 as a deposit. Does anyone have any ideas? I could take out a normal loan but can't afford the repayments. Bank won't help as they don't do "bridging" loans any more. Help, I'm desperate....!!!!

Sorry but if you want to take out a loan but can't afford the repayments is this not a good way to get yourself into debt and trouble?!?! Your best bet for such a short-term loan would be getting a normal loan and paying it off when you can afford it. You could try getting some credit cards on 0% for 6-10months but this could take some time.
2p off is still 2p off!
  • Thanks for your suggestion. I only want the loan until we've sold the house then I could pay it back, hence only wanting a 'bridging'-type loan.

FB raises a really good question, though. You said you'd hardly any viewers - if you can't sell, it might not be such a short term loan? I know it's an awful time for you, but maybe worth waiting?

    Good luck.
If it was easy, everyone would do it!
