Hi I am in a crisis and don't k ow what to do
I am £750 in my overdraft and my part we is in a similar state. We cannot afford bills, credit card.payments, food for us or the dogs.
I am in between pay from my old job and new job. I get paid tomorrow but it won't even cover my overdraft and then I should hopefully get paid by my new job at the end of the month but I am unsure yet how much and by then I will be even further into my overdraft.
We have no family or friends to ask for help I don't k ow what to do my mental health was already bad and now I am at breaking point

Hi there, sorry you sound so stressed. It's awful. I advise you to call/email the bank first off to discuss your position to see what they are willing to do to help. Also in my experience there are times when companies/organisations are willing to let you pause payments eg electric/gas and Credit card. But you must speak to them. Good luck.LBM July 2015 Debt Free 01/05/19

Open a new basic bank account with a different bank. Move your wages into it and arrange for your new salary to go in there too. If once you have received both lots of pay you still need more help then ring step change and get Advice. At least you will have a bit of breathing space and money to keep you going for now.0

Hi,
Never prioritise your credit debts over your essential payments.
All unsecured credit is non essential, your rent, mortgage, food, council tax etc are essential payments, budget for them first, if nothing left for credit then they will have to wait, it’s that simple.
Your creditors will be understanding so don’t feel afraid to tell them, affordability is everything nowadays, so don’t worry, formulate a plan, whereby you have money to live on, and stick to it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Just my overdraft and my partners overdraft and he owes £200 to the gas and electric company from winter.
We have some food in the freezer we are trying to work out if it will last but not sure yet.
I have looked into food bank but they said I need a voucher of entitlement and I don't have one?
My partner already works 37-40 hours a week on shift work so he can't do any more bless him. I currently work 25 but normally would be working 40-50 depending on the week including weekends.
I just don't know how we will ever get out of this situation were already so careful with what food we buy etc and don't buy gifts or go on dates or anything like that
Maybe if they sold/gave away the pets they could make ends meet. Doesn't sound like they can afford them at presentpoppy100 -

In your original thread it was suggested several times that you should complete your SOA
You haven't done that and people here will need that information to give you the help and advice you have asked for.
Do that and you will be surprised at the help you will get and this will importanty tell you where your money is goingNo.79 save £12k in 2020. Total end May £11610
Annual target £240000 -
Sorry to hear you're stressed. Agree about the pets - they're not cheap!
Prioritise yourself before you take on any extra responsibilities. Good luck.

Pop up an SOA so we can see where things are going and make an arrangement with your bank regarding the overdraft. If you tell them you're struggling to make ends meet they will understand.0
