Evidence ?? Oh hold on ive a bit of paper from the lass saying im miss selling You this :rotfl::beer::T

Now you see why most complaints that make unprovable allegations do not succeed on that particular point. (it doesnt mean they dont succeed on other things).

Have you got any paperwork left? Have they?

I have been told that i didnt have to take out the insurance!
Who exactly has told you this?
If it's simply a mate down the pub, then any complaint is doomed to failure I'm afraid.

No point attempting to "delete the thread" because you don't like the responses you have received.

AS above and let's start again....
In your opening post you said the girl at the Halifax told you it was a condition of the mortgage.
So who told you it wasn't?

Proof that it was mis sold?? No i dont, did anyone have any proof they were mis sold ppi??
    You didn't have PPI though!
While PPI policies were widely mis-sold, the same cannot be said of life insurance.

You really are barking up the wrong tree I fear..

I can't see the OP returning to the thread, to be honest, since he hasn't had the kind of response he hoped.

I'm willing to wager that no one in any official capacity has told him that he did not have to take the insurance and that he's simply trying to misapply PPI mis-selling reasons to insurance that was not PPI.
