Trustee and selling our home

Hello, just wondering if anyone could offer any advice, we were both made bankrupt in 2015, the house had no equity at that time due to mortgage and charging orders. We were told the house would be revalued at about 2 years 3 months after bankruptcy but we never heard anything . The 3 years are up in 2 months time, should we have heard from the trustee by now? Is there something we should be doing? I don’t imagine the property value will have risen but we have been paying the mortgage for 3 years so the mortgage amount is now less . I am feeling very anxious now that something should be happening , if the trustee is planning to ask us if we can make him an offer should he have done so by now? I dread the post every morning in case there is a letter from him saying he is going to sell the house . Any advice or similar stories would be a big help thank you

Hi,
I of course appreciate that it is nail biting waiting the last two months, but if you get to 2 months without any action being started against the property then the property automatically becomes yours again as the Trustee will have ran out of time.
Even if the trustee starts action then you could still come up with an offer if you are able to - Any trustee wants the quickest, easiest route providing they think it is a reasonable offer.
