Choices on remortgage - Nationwide vs Post Office

hi.
We are approaching end of the 2 year deal with our current mortgage provider Santander, and now we see that we should be at around 80-85% of LTV, depending on house valuation.
Previously our mortgage was arranged by L&C, so they approach us again and found a deal with Post Office Mortgages. They do pay all the fees, including conveyancing and house valuation (except ID checks) and deal actually looks really nice.
Another mortgage broker who we approached by ourselves before we were reached-out by l&c, found us another deal, with Nationwide. It looks like that this one is just a bit less attractive deal (a bit higher interest rate, and 12 pound/month higher monthly payments), but what they argue, that in the end of 2 years we will pay actually a bit less of Mortgage repayments (£244 within 2 years) because we will have a £500 cash back..
But we have to pay Legal Fees, and I wonder how this would stack up, as these should be £300 with conveyancing at least...
having this in mind - do I miss something?
How much should I expect to pay for the solicitors and stuff? What is easier to be accepted - Post Office or Nationwide?
I suspect we would on very very edge of 85% of LTV, depending on house valuation.

I was recently offered the Nationwide deal as an alternative to my current provider. Both deals were the same rate but the Nationwide cashback tempted me to have a look.
I'm sure they said Nationwide would either cover all legal procedures and fees OR I could sort it out myself and get £500 cashback (sounds like the same as yours).
I started pricing up fees but once I got to just over £400 I was thinking the hassle and potential of me getting something wrong or being hit by a hidden/forgotten charge wasn't worth it for what was going to be less than £100 in my pocket at best. I opted for staying with my current provider but would have been just as happy going to Nationwide but letting them cover the legal/fees with no cashback.0
