Debenhams Vouchers

Options
With Debenhams about to fall of a cliff, is it time to spend / cash in any Debenham's vouchers? People were left with useless House of Fraser vouchers, and vouchers are usually the first thing on the list of items "not to be honoured". I think the "multiple outlet" vouchers you get, like High Street vouchers are far safer as they offer a range of stores......so less chance of them all going bust.

    Answer: yes.

And why would anybody buy any vouchers at all when the Bank of England issue such excellent ones with no ties, no charges, and no expiry dates?
  • Yes, BoE vouchers are good, but its coming to the time of year when people buy these single store vouchers and trying to highlight that they should really look to spend any they hold and if buying presents buy ones that can be used anywhere (or in many outlets).

I don't think any retailer is immune for going pop, so spread the risk if you buy vouchers for presents etc and buy wide ranging ones
