Christmas savings

Hi all. Just thought I'd let you know about Skipton building societies Christmas savings account. I've managed to save up quite a bit this year and I was surprised how I didn't miss it each month and how it's all added up. Just goes to show how money slips through our fingers so fast we don't even notice. In fact it's even inspired my boyfriend to do the same for next year. They are apparently launching a new one at the end of November but they do a special savings account thing which you can save in for a whole year and it seems to have a pretty good rate of interest as well so just in time for next Christmas. It's quite flexible as well sa you can pay in from as little as a tenner but add to it if you get any extra. Anyway hope someone finds this useful. I'm sure there are other accounts out there but the flexibility was nice to have and the interest rate was good as well.
P.S I don't have any link to them apart from being a happy customer!
