HSBC Overdraft

Hi,

I'm on a DMP with the CCCS. The only creditor to still be charging interest is HSBC :mad: despite numerous letters etc.

My DH received notice this week that they have withdrawn his formal overdraft (approx £650) I was just wondering what happens now will the interest charged increase?

The CCCS payment is already half the interest every month which means rather than going down over last 15 months the OD has actually increased!

We have 3 accounts with HSBC all overdrawn.

We have a bank recharge claim in for over £6k with them but it's on hold whilst the courts decide.

I have e-mailed the CCCS about this as well just waiting for an answer.

Thanks for reading

    Hi mdw

I am in the same position with that bank. I am with payplan and they have sent them letters asking to stop interest added but they just say they cannot do anything i just hope the bank passes the debt on and then might beable to get the interest frozen.
  • I have an overdraft with HSBC.

They are not very good I dont use the account anymore and they started telephone harassment a few weeks ago as I dont pay in constantly calling me and then asking me security details I knew it was them so I talked to them.

To stop them closing the overdraft I have to pay in each month at first I paid in 100.00 now I just pay in 10.00 and withdraw it the next day. The accounts not overdrawn since they was calling me all the time. I just have it as an emergency credit fund.

Yep Another here who has an HSBC account...quite frankly they are !!!!!!. Our account has gone up from £1800 od to over £2100 now since we started on a DMP....I told a guy the other day that if they carried on adding interest I would die before I would pay it back...his reply was well you must be able to pay more than you are at the moment....that is when I lost it and told him you try living on a disposable income of 77p...that shut the git up! Im hoping the debt will be passed on soon!
