Hi guys
My current Santander fixed rate deal is coming to an end and needs renewing shortly..we always go for a fixed rate for security however i know better deals are available (blame the wife)
My issue is that I'm looking to go self employed before the renewal is required 2020 and wondering how I will be affected.. would i just be moved to a worse deal so to speak..??? Please help!!

Santander will not check your employment situation when offering you a new rate on their account.
If that policy does not change you will not be adversely affected in the options offered to you.I am a Mortgage Broker
