    Mine was going to be 'be too lazy to leave the house therefore not spending anything' but my friend made me go chestnut picking with her.

    So yeah, I:

    Stayed in bed most of the morning, which saved on heating bills
    Went chestnut picking
    Swapped scarves with my friend because we decided we both liked each other's better
    Did pigsback clicks
    Cut coupon out of newspaper to use when I venture out of the house

    Tomorrow I will:

    Serve a strange recipe of my own devising in order to not go out again tomorrow
    Ebay as much of my crap pile as I can be bothered to
    Start making my xmas cards ready
  • Today we walked home from the hospital, saving ourselves £5.

    I went through my magazines and cut out all the coupons to use t'moro when I nip to Asda.

    xx

    i cashed my co-op cheques and checked out prices of hair colourant before i chose the cheapest one. I had 3 loads of washing out today, some dried and some is on airers at the moment.
    I let the rabbit and guinea pigs out in their run to eat the grass thereby saving me electric for the lawn mower. (ok i know that one's a marginal dfw saving activity)
    I bought some seeds to save me paying for some veggies next year and some spring flowers next year.

    Today, I...

    Used my 5p off a litre of petrol at Tesco - £1.63
    I've been after a pair of jeans for ages, bought them from Tesco for £10, bargain! But I actually tried them on!! (My main downfall as a student, hence the reason I have a wardrobe full of "one day they might fit" clothes).

    My list isn't as long as yours, but I'm quite chuffed all the same.
    Please continue to hold the line. Your call is very important to us and will be answered by next available robot...

    Crikey I haven't done much this weekend at all and I have spent cash on silly things so...I need to go and sit on the naughty step and think about what I have done.....

    However I have:

    * Done QuidCo searches
    * Entered Pigsback quizzes
    * Went out for a walk last night to see some fabby fireworks for free (didn't pay to go into a display which is really cheeky I know but....you know...)
    * Got some washing dry outside
    * Packaged up an EBAY sale (just a little one) ready to post tomorrow
    * Have had the heating off pretty much all of both days - only putting it on when we really need to at nightfall

    I've not done very much at all today but I have tiled the kitchen myself which has saved me paying someone to do it. It looks really impressive too.

    Well done!! I wouldn't even attempt that so I am truly impressed. :T
    I would say it was a BIG money saving thing to do so less of this "I've not done much..." malarkey! ;)
