Nationwide help...

Hi,

I got a phone call from the new build site office (gleesons) yesterday (sat 8th) to say the surveryor had been to value the property (we didn’t even know it was booked :o). Anyway today we got a text from nationwide to say that the valuation had been received and would be reviewed etc. Then exactly 2 minutes later we got a text to say that we have a mortgage offer.

In my mind I’m thinking there may be error? Surely it wouldn’t have processed so quick especially on a Sunday?
Just wondered if anyone had any information on this?

Thanks in advance

Some cases go straight to offer from receipt of valuation.

You (and your solicitor) will get your paper copies in a week to ten days, as they are posted second class.

We can download a copy from NFI Online, yes.

  • Ok that’s great, I’m assuming they will let me know if there is anything with the offer in the next few days.

    Thanks for your help

We applied through nationwide last month and we received the texts in the same format as u did. It took a week to receive the offer through the post.
