Not getting credited for surveys

How often do you complete a survey and you just don't get credited? It seems to happen to me a lot. I get to the end of the survey, they say thank you very much for completing and then I don't get anything added to my account. It's happened a few times in Branded surveys and has just happened in Qmee. I'm not being screened out. I've completed the whole thing. To be fair to Branded surveys they added points to my account when I sent them a list of surveys completed but not credited. I think the problem is that by the time the survey is completed they've had enough responses and so they just close it down. One survey took me nearly three quarters of an hour and I didn't get a penny for it.

Yes it's happened to me quite a few times on branded surveys - usually on the high value surveys. Completed the whole thing and got to the last page then when I've submitted it it comes up as screened out or similar but I have definitely completed it and often spent a long time. I've complained a few times and they've given me a couple of points but nowhere near the full amount.
Total debts £21050! now £10941. 76. Total extra income made in Jan22 £109. 27 Feb 22 £45.25 Total extra income made in 2022 £154.52 Aiming for debt free at 45 - 41 months to go!
  • I quit Branded Surveys for that very problem, along with paying out in dollars. Swagbucks also seem to be another that fail to credit surveys too - quite often, usually gets to the very end of the survey then there's an "error" that blames a disruption in the internet. Just had another 60pt survey do that. I'm about 90pts off £5 then it will be another that i shall be quiting.

I have always been credited when I have completed surveys directly with the sites running them - it is only with 3rd party sites like swagbucks that I had any issues with but as they pay 10% or less of what going direct can pay I rarely bother with them.
  • Sites like Onepoll and Your Say Pays credit immediately. I've never had a credit problem with them. You have to check the sites regularly for surveys.

  • I've earned quite a lot with Branded Surveys though so I'll be sticking to them for a while.

  • I complained to Qmee about this yesterday, this was their response:
I've had a look at your account and at the survey you've mentioned (ID 115189610, Universal Trends, 12 mins, £0.51) and I can see that this survey was declined by the survey provider at/near the end, after they'd made their final checks on it, so it wasn't deemed as successfully complete which is why you didn't receive the reward this time.

We understand it's extremely frustrating when you spend time on a survey, even reach the end of it, for it then to be declined by the survey provider - however, once a survey has been closed, the providers are now able to let us know if you are owed a reward. Please read this short blog for full information: https://blog.qmee.com/survey-payment-update/

Unfortunately the surveys aren't under our control but we have passed feedback over to the survey providers as we don't agree with declining surveys at the end.

There are a number of reasons the survey providers will stop and decline a survey; if you don’t meet the criteria they’re looking for for that particular survey (every survey has a certain criteria of respondent needed), if the maximum number of respondents for that survey has been reached, or if you were answering the questions too quickly, inconsistently or illogically (they see this as fraudulent behaviour).

None of the information you give for a survey that gets declined by the survey provider is used by them (or by us).

Bit of a non-response really, we don't agree with surveys being declined at the end but we don't stop it from happening either.
  • I find that Branded Surveys are the biggest culprits for not rewarding surveys. It is quite soul-destroying to complete a long survey and have survey company thaking you, only to then find that Branded Surveys say that they have reached their quota. When I've queried this they either send me a cut and paste email which does not apply or ignore me completely.

If failing to pay is fairly common for them then they need to make up for it by paying over the basic £1 per 5 mins that can be had elsewhere.
  • Happens most days on SB. I just take it as a part of their skimming process, which I'm pretty certain it is.

Never had it happen with Branded Surveys in all the time I've used them.
  • I complained to Qmee about this yonks ago, I found it seemed to be a time thing, they basically dq'd you once you were directed back after completion if you took too long completing it & i'm not saying I took an hour for a '15 minute' survey (which as we all know 99% of the time take longer than stated) it was a supposed 10/15 minute survey that I took say 20/25 mins on & then not get paid for. Its put me off doing any surveys that are listed as longer than 10-15 minutes & put me off surveys with them unless really short
