bankruptcy forms ntb2

Does anyone know about witnesses for the form NTB2? Can I witness my husband's form and vice versa or do we need a completely separate witness? Thanks in advance.

The NTB2 is the notice setting out the duties and responsibilities of an undischarged bankrupt. I think its something the OR (or OR's interviewer) witnesses after a face-to-face interview?

You have to sign to agree to the duties and responsibilties. We are having telephone interviews tomorrow and have received the forms in the post. The letter with the forms says that a family member can be the witness to the signature on the form but we're unsure if we can be the witness for each other as we have no-one else living nearby who could do this. We are too ashamed to tell our friends about the bankruptcy. I suppose we can check with the OR when we have the interview.
  • I have now spoken to the Insolvency Service and the witness can't be a bankrupt so we can't witness each others forms.
