Nope I don't have a sky dish, just a cable thingy through the ground and a box sitting on the video player - that's about as technical as I get.
But I've just listed another load of books on Amazon whilst getting further down this bottle (I need a halo-type icon:D )
One of then was Puppetry of The PenisI thought it was an origami instruction book when I sent off for it and didn't get past page 2 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Same here, i_a, so I think we BOTH deserve a drink. :j :jI am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Oh, okay Oliveoyl. It's just I have an old sky digibox and FTV card so you could have had them. Might have an old NTL box kicking round somewhere if that would help?0

I have a bit of a problem with these shows in general to be honest, the trouble is they lead kids to believe that all they need to do is go on X factor and they can be famous. Like famous is the goal. No one wants to be a musician anymore they just want to be... famous.
What happened to people expecting to have to pay their dues? working in working mens clubs, tiny grotty venues the places where they learn their craft. How many people do we see these days who don't know what monitors are never mind what they want in them?
I really have a problem with this instant fix culture, if you want to be a musician (which singers used to be once upon a time) then go and learn, get lessons, work hard, take the knocks and learn how to play/sing in time and in tune.
My kids hate me watching these things:A
