Well I shared a house before uni and I sort of include them in student days. We had a huge party for the millennium, you know, one of those ones where you invite everyone you've ever met? We assumed most people wouldn't turn up because it was the millennium and people were talking about doing something amazing, you know?
Well, EVERYONE turned up. It was a wicked party but you couldn't move anywhere in the place. It was a four story town house too! In the end we had this brilliant plan of making everyone go round the corner to watch the fireworks display, becuase we figured they'd all bump into their other friends there and go off with them.
Yep, you've guessed... they brought all their mates back. At this point people were literally spilling out into the street. In the end I ended up going to someone else's for a bit of peace and quiet... the landlord wasn't too pleased. He had to rip the carpets up, and to punish us he never replaced them.
And then all the student parties were at my house, cos I had my own house in first year when everyone else was in prison, sorry, I meant on campus. Then when they all moved out in second year a decision was reached that since my house was already trashed it would be a shame for anyone else to risk losing their deposit...0 -
